Every time we get an opportunity to thank our sponsors we do so. Today we had the pleasure to visit with American Family Insurance ,Colorado South Sales Director, Dave Carter (Pictured here ). Dave had recently contact us to congratulate us on the article that made the news. Late last year David visited with our Executive Director, AJ Stapleton at the Kick Stand. David was impressed by our commitment to make Colorado a better place and by the passion with which we serve others. American Family Insurance has sponsored our helmets for the last 3 years. Project ReCycle gifts a brand new helmet with every bike. Read more

Tony’s Market Used Bike Drive – Sun, Sept 16th through Sun, Sept 30th
Tony’s Market is collecting used bike donations at all 4 of their stores for Project Recycle, which will pick up the bikes, refurbish them and give them–along with new helmets and locks–to needy kids in the Denver Metro area. You may also drop off bicycles at Metrum Credit Union, 6980 S. Holly Circle, Centennial. If you’re participating in the Tony’s to Tony’s Ride on Sept 30th (registration is now closed), you may drop off your used bicycle at the starting store, 950 Broadway in Denver. In 2011, they collected more than 100 used bikes at Tony’s Markets. This year’s goal is 150. Are you ready to donate your extra bike(s) for a good cause? (Tax donation receipts available upon request.)
With days away from our first fundraiser we continue to make news. Today our Executive Director AJ Stapleton spent some time on KLZ (560am) with Ralph Grills from My favorite non-profit, and Eric and Angel from Experience Pros. Watch the video of the interview and learn a bit more about 3t Ministry.
3t Ministry Bike Program Receives Own Name
It’s official friends, PROJECT RE-CYCLE will be the new name for our bike program here at 3t Ministry.
We invited our Facebook fans and friends to vote and suggest names for our bike program. The decision to name the program was made by Executive Director late last year. “We are committed to our Christian Values and that has been the core for 3t Ministry since the beginning. Last year we found out that donors were more apt to donate a bike once they found out what 3T was all about. After listening to our donors, we understood the need for a name that would give us immediate identity without having to explain what we did. We asked for suggestions for a name that clearly identified what we do…give away bikes. I think our fans and friends picked the right name.” Read more

This video is in dedication to all the volunteers that donate their time and energy before, during and after the events. Many people spend numerous hours collecting bikes, asking for donations, setting up, cleaning up, etc. It is because of these volunteers that CKF 2011 was a success.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We serve a God that has blessed us enormously.
“This Saturday I checked the mail and was surprised with a letter from the IRS. “We are pleased to inform you…” starts the letter” commented AJ Stapleton this morning via email.
He Continued “I read the 1 page letter over and over trying to make sense of it. Our acceptance took only 1 month. I had heard from numerous groups that their applications for tax Exemption and public charity have taken as long as 13 months to be approved. That most of them had ran their applications by lawyers and accountants only to find out that it was missing information. Robert and I can’t thank you enough for all your support and prayers during the initial stages of getting our letter of Exemption.”
