Tim Page on Project ReCycle and Being Chair

Tim Page still remembers riding his bike as a child and the fun times it brought him. But only recently as an adult, has he gotten back on a bike. Just a couple of weeks ago, he bought his first “adult” bike and he took it out for a 10- mile spin and really enjoyed it. He then joined Team PR, got his jersey, and hopes to spend more time in the saddle.

Tim met AJ Stapleton about 6 years ago through church, and that’s how he first came to know about Project ReCycle. “About a year ago AJ approached me about becoming a board member and being more engaged with the operation and organization of Project ReCycle,” said Tim. Prior to that he had been to a bike-give-away, volunteered at some community outreach programs, and done some grant writing for the non-profit. And today Tim sits as Chair.

Moments Like These…Changes peoples Lives

This video is in dedication to all the volunteers that donate their time and energy before, during and after the events.  Many people spend numerous hours collecting bikes, asking for donations, setting up, cleaning up, etc.  It is because of these volunteers that CKF 2011 was a success.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Our Tax Exempt Determination letter has arrived

We serve a God that has blessed us enormously.

“This Saturday I checked the mail and was surprised with a letter from the IRS.  “We are pleased to inform you…” starts the letter” commented AJ Stapleton this morning via email.

He Continued “I read the 1 page letter over and over trying to make sense of it.  Our acceptance took only 1 month.  I had heard from numerous groups that their applications for tax Exemption and public charity have taken as long as 13 months to be approved.  That most of them had ran their applications by lawyers and accountants only to find out that it was missing information.  Robert and I can’t thank you enough for all your support and prayers during the initial stages of getting our letter of Exemption.”

Merry Christmas

From all of us at 3t Ministry we want to wish you a Merry Christmas.  We are looking forward to spending time with our love ones and we pray that you will enjoy your families as well this Christmas and every day.

New members of our Board of Directors

We would like to extend a warm welcome to our brothers and spouses.  After having a conversation about what this new position would entail and after much praying in their parts, they have accepted positions in our board.

Although their terms start January 1st 2011, already they have been very instrumental on providing ideas and direction for the year to come.

Please welcome Patrick McAllen and his Wife Inga McAllen, along with  Steve Myer and his wife Cindy Myer, and lastly Greg Archunde and his wife Becky Archunde.
